Pastoral Ministry Retirement Coaching

These days, churches and denominations do a great job of prepping future ministers through seminary and assessments. Onboarding and training have become commonplace in most churches because an unprepared pastor is a pastor set up for failure, and no one wants that.  So much excitement and conversation surround launching another generation of pastors.

However, much less conversation surrounds a pastor’s retirement. Retirement might be stepping down from pulpit ministry for good or it might be a transition into some other form of ministry apart from pastoring a church.  Whether that retirement comes 10, 20, or even 30 years into their career, a lack of conversation is a disservice to pastors and their families.  As a result, many ministers have to make a go of retirement planning on their own.

Church Training Partners would like to help.

Our founders have both successfully transitioned from day to day pastoral ministry as well as having coached ministers into various other careers.  They have both experienced (and avoided a few of) the common pitfalls.

Now, they want to help pastors do the same, and most importantly, they want to help pastors do it without any shame.

Church Training Partners offers 3, 6, and 12-month ministry transition coaching.  We help pastors think through their future careers, their finances, and so much more.  If you are curious, just email us at gordon@ctpmarketplace.com or text us at 919-412-8161 for a free 20 min consultation.
