Six Things That Will Not Change With This Election

Election day is finally here. The issues are huge, and the direction of our country and foreign policy will be set today for the next four years.

It may take a few days, weeks, or months to know who our president is, but ultimately, we will have a president.

As we await the results, here are a few encouragements for pastors, congregations, and faithful believers.

No matter the winner, here are a few things from scripture that we know will NOT be impacted by this election:

God does not change. (Malachi 3:6)

God’s plans do not change. (Psalm 33.11)

God will complete every good work that He has begun. (Philippians 1.6)

The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. (Romans 11.29)

Every good and perfect gift is from above. (James 1.7)

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Heber3ws 13.8)

Knowing these things, we rest by faith in our immutable, unchangeable God whose plans do not change and are not dependent upon election results.
