I have been blessed with some amazing coaches and mentors. In fact, I would say my life has been marked by them.
My father was, of course, my first mentor and coach.
My InterVarsity Staff worker taught me so much in college.
My wife’s father took me under his wing.
A man named Terry Traylor mentored me, teaching me to take great leaps of faith.
And now, I have a mentor specifically for my business.

None of this is boasting. In fact, all of it is an admittance of my need. Others are smarter and wiser than I am, and when they are willing to pour into my life, I am eager to take their help.
As 2021 approaches, I would encourage you all to consider a coach. Mentors take time to find and develop. A coach you can find. As you think about your life and business goals, don’t be shy to spend the money or invest the time. When other people are wiser than you, do whatever it takes to gain access to them. If 2020 taught us anything, it is that we need as much help as we can get.
