When Your Church Runs Out of Leaders

Pastors, especially church planters, desperately need leaders.  Because of this, they often persuade, or attempt to persuade, people who don’t have the time it takes to perform in their roles.

Typically, one of two things happen:

The leader can’t perform the role, and the team suffers.  Then you risk losing a leader and perhaps even a family.

Or, the pastor compensates for the areas that the leader doesn’t have time for, which in turn diminishes the intended effect of the delegation.

Yes, someone might have more time than they are willing to admit, but you don’t want to push it.  If you overly persuade, or worse, guilt someone into taking a role that they don’t have time for, nothing is going to go well.

If you feel seen by this email, you are not alone.  We have all been there.

So, why should this scenario play itself out over and over again?  Why don’t we put something in place to alleviate this frustration?

That’s exactly what Church Training Partners has tried to do.  We’ve created a Training Partners Program that will not only help alleviate this problem, it will also help you train leaders and organize all of your church’s programs.

Debuting in May, our Training Partners Program will be a combination of videos, manuals, and training materials.

Once it debuts, we will let you know, and if you have any questions, just email us at gordon@churchtrainingpartners.com or call us at 919-412-8161.

Hang in there.  We totally understand what you are going through.  We’re praying for you.
